Symphony of the Sea Acapulco
Symphony of the Sea Acapulco Hidden treasure on the southwest coast of Acapulco, Symphony of the Sea is an open-air amphitheater located on the road to the Peninsula de las Playas area.
This space is located in the Traditional Zone, very close to La Quebrada and the tourist corridor that ends at La Angosta Beach.
The “Sinfo”, as the people of Acapulco affectionately call it, is a public space administered by the City of Acapulco. In 2006 the amphitheater and its surroundings were restored and detailed for the greater comfort of its visitors and to add value to the area.
Despite being built to host outdoor events, it is its panoramic view that primarily attracts visitors and locals.
Events such as concerts, plays and symphonic orchestra presentations have been held here, including, in 2018, a tennis court was installed for the exhibition of the friendly match between Alexander Zverev and Dominic Thiem, within the framework of the Mexican Tennis Open, which was set with mariachi.
Due to its spectacular location on the heights of the high cliffs facing the sea, in Sinfonía del Mar you can witness spectacular sunsets, capture them in a photograph!
