Remodeling of the Papagayo Acapulco Park; On February 19, 2022, Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda inaugurated the entrance to the papagayo park. The park had several dates postponed, however on February 19 they opened their doors for all Acapulco and tourists.
The park had a cost of more than 400 million pesos in an investment between the federal and state governments.
Despite waiting for the opening
many people from acapulco visited the papagayo park in acapulco, however the project was criticized by its citizens since it was an investment of more than 400 million pesos for the expectations they saw, and they lamented the deforestation.
